Who is behind Studio Deu?
I’m David, a designer and the founder of Studio Deu. I personally lead the entire project, and you communicate directly with me from start to finish. If a project requires an external specialist, such as a photographer or copywriter, we will only bring them in after agreeing this with you in advance.
How does payment work?
For website and branding projects, payment is split into two parts: 50% before work begins and 50% before final handover. Smaller, clearly defined graphic design projects are usually paid in full upfront. We always confirm the exact scope, price and payment terms before starting.
What if I don’t like the first concept?
The project follows clearly defined stages. First, we agree on the brief and visual direction. I then prepare the first concept and incorporate the agreed feedback. Only after you approve it do I continue with the remaining pages and details.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
The number of revision rounds depends on the type and scope of the project and is always stated in the proposal. We review feedback together at the agreed stages so the project stays organised and aligned with the approved direction.
What will you need from me?
Before we begin, I’ll need basic information about the project, its goals and what your business offers. I’ll also need the copy, photographs, logo and any other existing materials. If anything is missing, we’ll identify together what needs to be supplied or arranged.
Do you work exclusively in Framer?
I primarily design and build new websites in Framer. This allows me to lead the entire process from visual design through to a responsive launch. For changes to an existing website, I’ll first assess whether its current platform is one I can work with effectively.
Who owns the finished work?
Once payment has been made in full, you receive the right to use the final deliverables within the scope agreed before the project begins. Fonts, photographs, templates and other third-party materials may be subject to their own licence terms. Source and working files are included in the handover only when stated in the proposal.
Do you offer support after the website launches?
One month of support is included after launch to resolve any technical issues related to the handover. New pages, larger changes and further website development can then be handled individually or through an ongoing arrangement.
What kinds of projects do you accept?
I can best help businesses and studios where how the website looks affects customer trust, with a clear offer and a realistic budget. If a project isn't a good fit for how I work or for Framer, I'll tell you openly before we begin.
